Dear Karel & Kimberly,

If you are getting this Walk-O-Rama email it's because you have supported the Lindy Scholar Walk for the Animals in some way in recent years.  Thank you!  The Walk-O-Rama newsletter will keep you up to date with Walk announcements, highlight some easy ways you can help make the Walk successful, and profile some of the people and Packs involved this year.

Walker Profile: Lori Simmons & Gypsy
Lori & GypsyYou may recognize this year's cover models from the Walk Brochure!  Lori Simmons and Gypsy walked last year as part of the Lucky Dogs Pack.  This year, they are famous!  She's no Paris so Lori is turning that fame to good with her fundraising page on the secure Firstgiving website.  This easy fundraising tool lets you include a picture of your choice, tell the world why you are walking, and easily raise funds for the animals from anyone with internet access.  It even lets you take credit cards and all your supporters get donation acknowledgemetns from the HSBC!  Surf over to Lori & Gypsy's page and then start one of your own!

Pack Profile: Berks For Obama Pack
Berks For ObamaCats, dogs, donkeys, and elephants?  Who knew that Doggies Dig Obama?  Apparently, Eileen Prussman did when she decided to combine her love of dogs and her candidate of choice to create the Berks For Obama Pack!  Of course, in the interest of balance, shouldn't there really be a Rotties For Rudy, Canines For Clinton whoever you are voting for?  Maybe we can top Iowa and have our very own PAW poll to see which Pack's candidate wins!

Remember, the Walk is about more than just having fun- it's about helping save thousands of lives each year.  Please help us to help the animals by registering yourself and your friends, raising sponsorship funds, and by forwarding this email to lots and lots of people!  Thanks!

See you at the Walk,
