Dear Karel,

Welcome to the Humane Society of Berks County's Kennel Kapers Online! We hope that you find it useful, informative, and that it will give you a better idea of our efforts to save the thousands of homeless, abused and neglected animals needing our help each year.

 August Furry Friday
 Featured Artist: Gayle Barcz

July Artist Gayle Barcz We know there must be an awesomely clever possibility here with this artist's name, but a bad pun just wouldn't do her justice! Join us on Friday, July 13th from 5:00 to 7:30 PM, to see just how scary good Gayle's art is (at least we got a Friday the 13th joke in!).

Stop by the shelter, have a bite to eat courtesy of Canal Street Pub & Restaurant and Tasty Maid Bakery, drink courtesy of Legacy Brewing Company, Barefoot Wines, and PepsiCo, and say "Hi!" to the animals. We'll even crank the AC. As always, it's free and if you buy some art, a portion of the proceeds go to the Humane Society!

 Survey Says!...
Got something to say? Tell us!

Survey A great teacher once said: "Paint what you see, not what you think you see." The HSBC tries hard to address the problems, needs and concerns that are actually out there, not just the ones that we think are out there. One of the ways we try to do that is to actually ask what's on people's minds.

We've taken that to a whole new level by offering online surveys. We started with same day emails to our adopters asking them how the adoption process worked (or didn't) for them. Their responses will help us to serve the public and our animals better in the future.

We'll give you your chance, too! Click below to tell us what you think of the Kennel Kapers Online! Print out the completion page of the survey and use it to receive a 10% discount on HSBC goods and services. Want more? Bring the page to the July Furry Friday and receive a free gift! So, tell us what you think!
