LaVigna Dog Adoption Center
(Opening Spring/Summer 2008)
The HSBC has kicked off its 2007 Kennel & Cattery Campaign. The funds raised will help to make vital improvements to the HSBC's kennel and cattery that will result in more adoptions and more lives saved. The Campaign is undertaken in the memory of Joni LaVigna, the HSBC's long-time Chief Humane Officer. She recently passed away after a battle with cancer. We are asking that you consider making a donation to the campaign in her memory.

In recognition of her long and heartfelt service to the animals, the staff and board of the HSBC have stepped forward to honor Joni's memory in a significant way and to challenge others to join us. The staff and board have committed to personally donate $25,000 over the next five years in order to name the new Dog Adoption Center in Joni LaVigna's honor. We hope that this personal support on the part of the staff and board demonstrate just how much we all loved and respected Joni. We also hope that it will inspire you to join us so we can help more of the animals that Joni cared so much about.
