Donation Drop-Off

You may drop off donations at the Humane Society (Reading or Douglassville) or use one of our new Drop off Points for donations for the Humane Society of Berks County.

Hilltop Garden Center

Hilltop Garden Center will be accepting donations for the Humane Society as well as Berks CART (County Animal Response Team). They will also have items available for sale benefiting the Humane Society of Berks County in their beautiful new gift shop. Godfrey’s Welcome to Dogdom

Godfrey's Welcome to Dogdom will be accepting donations for Berks CART at their location in Mohnton. They are requesting donations specific to dogs (please no cat litter at this location), and also that any food donations are unopened. They have a great web site at www.godfreysdogdom.com which features some great merchandise. A select group of items will be sold to benefit the Humane Society. Their phone number is 610-777-5755.

Due to overwhelming generosity, we receive far too much newspaper and actually have to pay to dispose of it. For this reason, we are asking supporters not to drop off newspaper without first calling the shelter to determine our current need for it.  We can also no longer accept cans.
