- Saturday, June 19, 2010- Art on the Avenue! Thanks to all of our friends in West Reading for an another great Art on the Avenue, and our special thanks to the Klines of Across the Pond for playing host to the HSBC VetMobile. We adopted two cats to great homes, and had a lot of fun doing it!
 
- Saturday, July 24, 2010- Hot Diggity Dog Day! Presented by Cold Noses Cuisine to benefit the HSBC. This fun-filled afternoon will be sure to please pet lovers of all kinds! Great pet-theme activities, promotions, and pet photo sessions will be offered by Cold Noses located inside A Wrinkle in Time on Rt. 422 in Wernersville. Pooch Smooch Photography will be taking pet pictures from 11:00am-4:00pm with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the HSBC. Click here for a printable flyer. - Friday & Saturday July 30-31, 2010 - 2nd Annual Jammin for the Animals! Organized by Todd Jones of Gratefultaj Productions in association with PlusVibes Productions, JFTA will
take place at Blue Falls Grove in Leesport, PA. This family-friendly, camping, & multi-arts festival benefits the Humane Society of Berks County in memory of Jones' brother, Bobby Jones. With nearly two-dozen workshops, seminars, demonstrations of all types of art, and lots of great music, this festival promises to be fun for kids & adults of all ages. Gates open at 5pm on the 30th and you’re welcome to stay & camp until noon on Sunday, 8/1, for an additional $5. Tickets are $30 in advance/$40 at the gate. Tickets are limited so get yours early! Children under 10 are admitted free with an adult ticket.

- Tuesday, August 3, 2010- National Night Out! Come to the Lincoln Park Pool to join in the fun Spring Township's National Night Out. Lots of exhibitors, food, drink, demonstrations, music, and a raffle with great prizes. Be sure to stop by the HSBC table! Click here for more information.
- Friday, August 13, 2010 Furry Friday- Official Kick Off of the Walk for the Animals! 5PM- 8PM Open House, Art Exhibition, drinks, light fare, say Hi! to the animals. Featured Artist is Adrienne Trafford. Walk posters, brochures, yard signs, registration forms- all will be available for pick up. Check back for more exciting Walk information coming soon!
- Saturday, August 14, 2010 Dog Days of Summer presented by Y102 Rock Hits! From 12 Noon - 5PM the grounds of the Reading Public Museum will be filled with wagging tails! Doggie Contests, Exhibitors, Music and more. Come visit the HSBC table and get a tour of the new Vet Mobile and Mobile Adoption Unit! Furry Friday
The 2nd Friday of every month is Furry Friday! 5:00PM - 7:30PM at the Humane Society of Berks County, 1801 North 11th Street, Reading. The open house features art exhibitions by local artists, drinks & light fare, news about the great new things happening at the HSBC, tours and a chance to say Hi! to the animals.
