July 11, 2009: Pints for Pups was a sold out smash that helped raise over $20,000 for the animals!  Thanks to all those who attended and sponsored the event.  Check yourself out at our SmugMug gallery (click here).  You can buy prints and the profit goes to the HSBC.  Or maybe a t-shirt so you can prove you were there and you heard of it first? 

2009 Pints for Pups

Pints for Pups has outgrown its britches and is moving locations and dates!  The 2009 Pints for Pups will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2009, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at FirstEnergy Stadium, home of the Reading Phillies!  It will be bigger and better with more beer, music, space, and fun!  And guess what?  You can bring your dog*!! Plus, brand new Pints glasses (below left), full buffet, Spike's Doggie Bar & Buffet- sponsored by Godfrey's Welcome to Dogdom, and special VIP packages.

Confirmed breweries so far: Reading Brewing Company, Legacy Brewing Company, Sly Fox Brewing Company, Appalachian Brewing Company, Lancaster Brewing Company, Stoudt's Brewing Company, Green Mountain Cidery, Dogfish Head and Troegs.   More to follow!

Plus, music will be provided by the legendary Dibbs Preston & the Detonators!  Dibbs was a leading force in the the UK roots/rockabilly revival and a co-founder of the seminal Rockats!

General admission tickets are $30 and include a custom event pint glass, full access to the beer tasting area, Spike's Doggie Bar & Buffet for the pooches*, music and other cool happenings.  VIP passes are $100 per pair and get you all the great general admission stuff plus entry to the exclusive Legacy Brewing VIP area with reserved seating just for VIP's, expanded buffet options, and a full service Legacy Beer and Barefoot Wine bar for VIP's only.  Man, all that for just an extra $20 a ticket over general admission?  You'd have to be a (insert your own humorous pejorative here) not to take advantage of that deal.
