Pet Lost & Found Services
Report your lost or found pet online here.
If you have lost or found a pet, you should report it to the Humane Society immediately! The sooner you report a pet lost or found, the sooner we can begin searching for the pet or its owner.
All reports filed with the Humane Society of Berks County are cross reported to other animal shelters. You may file your report on-line or by calling the HSBC at 610-921-2348. You should always visit the shelter personally to look at all animals currently housed there and you should contact the shelter daily to follow up on your report. Waiting as little as two days could result in your pet being adopted to a new family or worse!
Each year, hundreds of stray pets are not reunited with their owners because they do not have proper identification, because their owner waited too long to contact local shelters, or because the animals were not correctly matched to reports. Please help us to help you to the best of our ability by providing us with the information and assistance we need.
Your pet is your responsibility! License your dog now. It's the law and it may save your pet's life. You may purchase a current license at the HSBC, the County Treasurer Office, or many other locations throughout Berks County. Or you can download an application for a license by mail by clicking here.
