Ani-Meals on Wheels

One of the most effective ways to decrease the number of animals in shelters is to keep them from entering in the first place.  When hard times lead good pet owners to have to make the decision to feed their pet or feed their family, the HSBC is there to make that decision a little easier.  The HSBC's Ani-Meals on Wheels program is a pet food bank program that provides free pet food to pet owners in need until they can get back on their feet.  For those pet owners who are housebound, Ani-Meals on Wheels will deliver food and essential supplies directly to them at home.

Breaking News! July 27, 2008:  The HSBC announces that the groundbreaking Ani-Meals On Wheels Program will be expanded to Montgomery County!  The Humane Society of Berks County will be partnering with Family Services of Montgomery County, MontCo's Meals On Wheels service provider.  Application for the service in MontCo are currently being accepted and the service will officially kick off on September 1, 2008.
